To join business, government and citizens together to make Greater Lisbon an even better place to live, work and play. How do I join PCL? Those interested in joining should contact our Membership Committee by emailing positivechangelisbon@gmail.com or by sending a message on our Face Book page. A membership application can also be found HERE. Does it cost anything to join PCL? Membership fees Rolling Membership Dues can be paid on a quarterly installment basis Gold Level – $300.00 Silver Level - $200.00 Bronze Level - $100.00 Volunteer – No Charge What is the Difference between Gold, Silver and Bronze members? Gold Level Membership: This membership level is the highest level available. It is required for all companies with 6 or more employees. This level is optional for all smaller companies and individuals. Gold members will be provided a certificate for display in their place of business. They will be highlighted in any printed marketing materials as “Gold Member”. Gold members will be allowed to invite up to 5 employees to PCL meetings and social events. They will have 1 vote at all full member-voting issues. Silver Level Membership: This membership is required for businesses with 5 or fewer employees. It is optional for individuals. Silver members will be provided a certificate for display in their place of business. They will be highlighted in any printed marketing materials as “Silver Member”. Silver members will be allowed to bring one employee to any PCL meetings and social events. They will have 1 vote at all full member-voting issues. Bronze Membership: This membership level is suggested for individuals. Bronze Members will receive a certificate of appreciation for display. They will have 1 vote at all full member-voting issues. Volunteer: This level is to recognize the individuals who contribute time and energy to Positive Change Lisbon but choose not to become a dues paying member. They are welcome to attend meetings and social events. Volunteers will not have a vote at full member voting issues. Is PCL a Non-Profit Organization? Yes, PCL is a recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 Is PCL a Chamber of Commerce? Although our goals are similar, PCL is not strictly for businesses. We encourage residents who have an interest in improving our community to get involved. Is PCL associated with fraternal groups like the Masons, Elks, VFW or Shriners? PCL is not a fraternal organization. While we welcome members of other groups, such a membership is certainly not required. |
