Lynn Deeves with Robbie coffin

Picture

Maine singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Lynn Deeves honed her stage skills on the high energy rock circuit of New England in the 1980’s and 90’s. She has since released 4 self-produced, original CD’s, showcasing a versatile mix of blues, folk and gospel influences combined with a powerfully, soulful voice. Her sharp wit and dynamic stage presence continue to captivate, as Portland Press Herald says “five star stage presence….this gals’ got a set of pipes…” Deeves has opened for Cheryl Wheeler, Ellis Paul, Janie Ian, America, Catie Curtis and many others. Recently, Lynn was selected to contribute a track to “The Pink Album-26 of the greatest women recording artists in Maine”-a benefit compilation for the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition.

Electric and acoustic guitarist, Robby Coffin has long-been a favorite on the Maine music scene. Robby has performed with Tom Paxton, Devonsquare, Noel Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul and Mary), Don Campbell and the Nutopians. Coffin’s tasteful, textures augment whomever he’s playing with and his rich vocals blend beautifully with Lynn’s.     Sure to be a magical evening!

Scott davis and the Dixie dance kings

Scott Davis and The Dixie Dance Kings
is a seven piece Dixie band.  Lead by trumpet man Scott Davis, and populated by a who’s who lineup of Maine musicians, the band plays a New Orleans style of Dixie jazz. Peppy twobeat jump tunes, beautiful, heartstring tugging ballads, and a bunch of stuff in between. Close your eyes, and you’ll think you’re Struttin’ With Some Barbeque down Bourbon Street.  Missing this band is never a good idea.
